That’s why we built Metanode to give you greater control over the information you share online and the information you share with us. We strive to collect only what we need to improve Metanode for everyone.
In general, we collect data that allows us to provide you with an optimal experience while using our Services. This includes, for example, some basic benefits like allowing other users to see the name and picture you choose to show, and the more advanced ones. It also helps us to keep our Services clear of fraud and spam, and it allows us to get a unique understanding of what additional services may be useful to you, in addition to other purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy is meant to help you understand what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can update, manage, export, and delete your information.
We build a range of services that help millions of people daily to explore and interact with the world in new ways. Our services include:
- Browsing platforms
- Products that are integrated into third-party apps and sites, like, analytics, and embedded Maps
You can use our services in a variety of ways to manage your privacy. And across our services, you can adjust your privacy settings to control what we collect and how your information is used.
We want you to understand the types of information we collect as you use our services
We collect information to provide better services to all our users — from figuring out basic stuff like which language you speak to more complex things like which ads you’ll find most useful or the people who matter most to you online. The information Metanode collects, and how that information is used, depends on how you use our services and how you manage your privacy controls.
When you’re signed in, we also collect information that we store with your Metanode Account, which we treat as personal information.
When you create a Metanode Account, you provide us with personal information that includes your name and a password. You can also choose to add a phone number to your account. Even if you aren’t signed in to a Metanode Account, you might choose to provide us with information — like an email address to communicate with Metanode or receive updates about our services.
We also collect the content you create, upload, or receive from others when using our services. This includes things like messages you write and receive, photos and videos you save, recordings, and notes you create.
We collect informa, tion about the apps, browsers, and devices you use to access Metanode services, which helps us provide features like automatic product updates and dimming your screen if your battery runs low.
The informat, ion we collect includes unique identifiers, browser type and settings, device type and settings, operating system, and mobile network information including the carrier name and phone number, and application version number. We also collect information about the interaction of your apps, browsers, and devices with our services, including IP address, crash reports, system activity, and the date, time, and referrer URL of your request.
We collect this information when a Metanode service on your device contacts our servers — for example, when you install an app or when a service checks for automatic updates.
We collect information about your activity in our services, which we use to do things like recommend a video you might like. The activity information we collect may include:
- Terms you search for
- Videos you watch
- Views and interactions with content
- Voice and audio information
- People with whom you communicate or share content
- Activity on third-party sites and apps that use our services
If you use our services to make and receive calls or send and receive messages, we may collect call and message log information like your phone number, calling-party number, receiving-party number, forwarding numbers, sender and recipient email address, time and date of calls and messages, duration of calls, routing information, and types and volumes of calls and messages.
Data provided or collected through registration & under your Metanode account or participation in Metanode’s activities:
Identifiers, such as:
- Your mobile number (including mobile country/network code);
- Your personal details, (e.g., name, date of birth), if you provided them;
- Your contact details (e.g., email address), if you provided them;
- Your account login details, such as your username and any of your password or security pin-code, which you have chosen, if any;
Device identifiers, as described below.
- Your photo, if you provided it (e.g. any avatar).
- Your phone address book, meaning, the names, the phone numbers, and the favorites list from your contact lists, if you approved access to them.
- User Submitted Content: If you choose to participate in Metanode’s activities (e.g., contests), or as part of your participation in communities/channels available on Metanode, you may voluntarily publish, submit, or post content such as videos, images, graphics, text, videos, etc. which may include personal data (e.g., an image of a person).
Metanode Security
Private and secure messaging
All around the world, users turn to Metanode to have open and authentic conversations with their friends, family, and colleagues. With Metanode you can rest assured, knowing that your chats are always protected and private and that all your conversations are your own. Our mission is to protect that privacy so you never have to think twice about what you can or can’t share when you’re using Metanode.
We don’t read or listen to any of your chats and calls
Unlike some other messaging apps, Metanode can’t read your chats (one-on-one chats and group chats) or listen in on your one-on-one audio or video calls. We use end-to-end encryption by default, so no need to go out of your way to turn it on. Your private and group communications are completely safe so that only you and the people you’re talking to can read or hear them.
We wish to clarify that we do not read or listen to the content of your messages and/or calls made privately via Metanode and we do not store those messages (including any media files transferred therein) once they have been delivered to their destination (which on average takes less than one second). If for some reason the message is not delivered to its destination within up to 2 weeks, it will be deleted from our servers. We note that we allow you the option to back up your chat history data on your own external data backup service (like iCloud or Metanode Drive).
We can’t and don’t sell what you share
When your chats are protected by end-to-end encryption, no one can access them. Perhaps most importantly, Metanode doesn’t have access to them—which means nothing you share can be used by Metanode or 3rd parties to target you with ads later. Some other messaging apps don’t offer end-to-end encryption by default—hence they can access, read, and sell your private conversations to others for advertising purposes.
More than encryption
Not only are your communications protected by end-to-end encryption by default, but nothing you share is ever stored on Metanode’s servers once delivered. Messages you send make their way from your device to the recipient as an encrypted code. If the recipient’s phone is off or they don’t have an internet connection—your message will wait patiently on Metanode’s servers for a limited time only—still safe and encrypted—until their device is set to receive and decrypt it.
You can visit your Metanode Account to find and manage activity information that’s saved in your account.
Your location information is stored in our server in order to help you share information with your friends and optimize your search experience. Also, we collect information about your location when you use our services, which helps us offer features like driving directions, search results for things near you based on your general location such as:
- General location, we use IP addresses we collect and additional information (e.g., phone number area codes), to estimate your general location (e.g., city level); we may also use your residential address if it’s been provided by you.
- GPS-based location, we will collect the GPS location for very specific purposes (as detailed below), and solely if you permit us.
Your location can be determined with varying degrees of accuracy by:
- GPS and other sensor data from your device
- IP address
- Activity on Metanode services, such as your location using the Driving Alert feature from us
- Information about things near your device, such as Wi-Fi access points, cell towers, and Bluetooth-enabled devices
The types of location data we collect and how long we store it depend in part on your device and account settings. For example, you can turn your device’s location on or off using the device’s settings app. You can also turn on Location History if you want to create a private map of where you go with your signed-in devices. If your setting is enabled, your searches and other activity from Metanode services, which may also include location information, are saved to your Metanode Account. Learn more about how we use location information.
How do we use your location information?
It varies, depending on the service or feature being used and people’s device and account settings. Here are some key ways Metanode may use location information.
To make experiences useful
Metanode may use or save location information to provide people with useful services when they interact with Metanode products, such as providing locally relevant and faster search results, traffic predictions for people’s daily commutes, and suggestions that take into account a person’s context. For example, someone searching for movie times will likely want to see movies at theaters in their neighborhood, not in another city. Or someone uses our Driving Alert to protect themselves while on a ride-hailing service, allowing them to receive alert notifications and simulate recording from AI (features enhance safety while using any ride-hailing service). In Metanode, location information helps people find their place on a map, navigate to places they’d like to visit and protect them from dangers.
To help people remember places they’ve been
People can choose to remember places they go with their devices using Timeline. To use Timeline, people can turn on Location History, a Metanode Account setting that creates a personal map of the places they’ve been and the routes they’ve taken. If you choose to use Location History, your device’s precise locations are saved to a personal map, including when you don’t have Metanode apps open. This information can be viewed and deleted in Timeline.
To help people find things faster and get more helpful results
Metanode account setting lets people save their activity data and associated information like location, so they can make their experience more personalized when they are signed in across Metanode services. For example, Search might show results that are relevant to a general area you’ve searched from in the past.
To make experiences more secure
Metanode uses information about the general area that you’re in to provide some basic services, such as keeping your account safe by detecting unusual activity, or a sign-in from a new city.
To show anonymous community trends, estimates, and for research
Metanode also uses aggregated anonymous location information for research and to show community trends.
To see more ways that location information is used, visit the Metanode Privacy Policy.
How user can control apps’ use of device location?
Users can control which apps have permission to use the device location in device settings. In settings, you have controls that let you choose whether the app can access precise or approximate locations. We’ve added controls that allow you to decide whether an app can access the device location anytime, only while the app is in use, if the app has to ask every time, or never. The availability of these settings and controls depends on which operating version your device is running.
How does the device location work?
Depending on your device settings, devices estimate location by using different inputs, including GPS, sensors (such as accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and barometer), mobile network signals, and Wi-Fi signals. These inputs can be used to estimate the most accurate location possible, which is provided to apps and services on the device that have the required permissions.
Mobile and Wi-Fi network signals can help estimate the device’s location, especially in environments where GPS signals aren’t available or accurate, including in dense urban areas or when indoors. Metanode Location Accuracy Services uses these signals to improve the device’s location estimate.
To provide this more accurate location, when turned on, the service periodically collects location information from your device—including GPS and information about Wi-Fi access points, mobile networks and device sensors—using a temporary rotating device identifier that is not associated with any specific person, then, use this information to improve location accuracy and provide location-based services, including by building crowdsourced maps of Wi-Fi access points and mobile network towers.
You can turn off the service at any time in your device’s location settings. Your device’s location will continue to work even if service is turned off, and the device will rely only on GPS and device sensors to estimate device location.
How does Metanode know my location?
Depending on the products you’re using and the settings you choose, Metanode may use different types of location information to help make some services and products you use more helpful.
This location information can come from real-time signals, like your IP address or from your device, and also your saved activity on Metanode sites and services. Here are the main ways Metanode may get information about your location.
From your IP address
An IP address, also called an Internet Protocol address, is a number that is assigned to your computer or device by your Internet Service Provider. IP addresses are used to make the connection between your devices and the websites and services you use.
Like many other internet services, Metanode may use information about the general area that you’re in to provide some basic services—relevant results, such as when someone does a search asking what time it is, or keeping your account safe by detecting unusual activity, such as a sign-in from a new city.
Keep in mind: Devices need an IP address to send and receive internet traffic. IP addresses are roughly based on geography. This means that any apps, services, or websites you use, including Metanode.com, may be able to infer and use some information about your general area from your IP address.
From your saved activity
If you’re signed in to your Metanode Account and have Web & App Activity turned on, your activity data on Metanode sites, apps, and services may be saved in your account’s Web & App Activity. Some activities may include information about the general area you were in when using the Metanode service. When you search for something using a general area, your search will use an area of at least 3 sq km, or expand until the area represents the locations of at least 1,000 people. This helps protect your privacy.
In some cases, areas that you have searched from in the past may be used to estimate a relevant location for your search. If you turn off Search customization, Metanode won’t use previous search activity to estimate your location.
From home or work addresses you saved
You might choose to save places to your Metanode Account that are important to you, such as your home or your work. If you set your home or work addresses, they can be used to help you do things more easily, such as getting directions or finding results closer to your home or work.
You can edit or delete your home or work addresses anytime in your Metanode Account.
From your device
How Metanode apps use location from your device
Devices have settings or permissions that you can use to control whether your precise location is available to apps, including Metanode’s apps like Search and Maps. This kind of precise location is useful in apps, like Metanode Maps, to give directions or help you get useful nearby search results. For example, you’ll get more relevant search results for things like local places and weather information when precise location settings or permissions are on.
Both iOS and Android have settings for app location permissions that you can turn on or off. You can let apps use your location to provide location-based features and services. Keep in mind, that it’s sometimes necessary for apps to store your precise location temporarily so that they can quickly give you helpful results, or save battery by avoiding the need to keep updating the location.
Some apps need access to your device location in the background, such as Find My Device, or if you want to use certain features, like Location Sharing.
How are Location History and Web & App Activity saved in my Metanode Account?
Location History and Web & App Activity
Location History and Web & App Activity are Metanode Account settings that use location. Here’s an overview of each. Keep in mind, other features or products may also collect or store location information.
Location History
If you turn on Location History, it will create Timeline, a personal map that helps you remember places you’ve been, and routes and trips you’ve taken.
Location History is turned off by default. If you turn on Location History, your precise device location is regularly saved, for every eligible mobile device that has the Location Reporting setting turned on. These device locations are used to build your Timeline, even when Metanode apps aren’t being used.
To make Metanode experiences more useful for everyone, Location History can be used to show information, such as popular times and environmental insights, based on anonymized location information to detect and prevent fraud and abuse improve and develop Metanode services, including ad products
Location History can also help businesses estimate the likelihood that people visit their stores because of an ad.
You can review, edit, and delete what’s saved in your Timeline at any time. To see if you’ve turned on Location History, visit your Activity Controls. There, you’ll be able to control the Location History setting and control which devices are reporting their location.
How often your precise location is collected as part of the Location History setting varies. For example, if you’re using navigation in Maps, it might be collected multiple times per minute. But if you’re not actively using your phone, it could be once every few hours.
How long Location History data is saved depends on your settings—you can choose to automatically delete this data once it’s 3, 18, or 36 months old, or keep the data until you delete it.
Keep in mind that if you turn off Location History
Metanode will continue to store any past Location History data you’ve saved until you delete it, or it will be deleted after a period that you’ve chosen as part of your auto-delete settings.
Turning off Location History doesn’t impact how location information is saved or used by Web & App Activity or other Metanode products, e.g., based on your IP address. You may still have other settings that save location information.
To see if you’ve turned on Location History, visit your Activity Controls. Learn more.
Web & App Activity
When Web & App Activity is turned on, Metanode will save data about the things you do across Metanode services in your account’s Web & App Activity. This includes associated information, like the general area where you used a Metanode service.
For example, if you search for weather information and get results for a location sent from your device, this activity, including the general area your device was in when you searched, is saved to your Web & App Activity. The precise location that your device sent is not stored, only the location’s general area is stored. The saved location, which can be used to help Metanode determine a more relevant location in a future search, can come from the IP address or your device. This saved location is automatically deleted from your Web & App Activity after 30 days.
Web & App Activity data helps Metanode to understand general areas that are relevant for you, and include results for those areas when you do things like search.
You can review and delete location and other information saved with your Web & App Activity, or turn it off, by visiting your Activity Controls. Turning off Web & App Activity will stop saving your future activity data.
Keep in mind when you turn off Web & App Activity
You may still have saved activity, which may be used until you delete it. You can delete this anytime. Your saved location information is still automatically deleted after 30 days.
Turning off Web & App Activity doesn’t impact how location information is saved or used by other settings, such as Location History. You may still have other types of location information saved as part of other settings, including IP addresses.
How long is location information retained by Metanode?
The Metanode Privacy Policy describes our retention practices for user data, including location information that Metanode collects. Location information is collected for different periods, depending on what it is, how it’s used, and how people configure their settings.
Some location information is saved with your Metanode Account until you delete it.
Controlling retention and deletion: Both Location History and Web & App Activity have auto-delete options, which let you automatically delete data after 3, 18, or 36 months. You can also see this data by visiting Timeline and My Activity, and can delete specific activities or bulk data according to your preference. You can always modify these settings or change your auto-delete option.
Saving location information: Depending on the Metanode product or service, location information may be saved to your Metanode Account. For example, you may tag locations in Photos. You can delete this location information.
When you delete data, Metanode follows a policy to safely and completely remove it from your account so that the recovery of the data is no longer possible. First, the activity you delete is removed from view and no longer used to personalize your Metanode experience. Then, Metanode begins a process designed to safely and completely delete the data from Metanode storage systems.
Info, rmation that expires after a certain period.
For other location information, as described in How Metanode retains data, there are times when—instead of being deleted manually—Metanode stores data for a set time before it’s deleted. The amount of time it takes to safely and completely delete it depends on the type of data, for example:
Metanode anonymizes advertising data in server logs by removing part of the IP address after 9 months and cookie information after 18 months.
Metanode deletes IP-based location and device location from your Web & App Activity after 30 days.
Information retained for extended periods for limited purposes
As described in the Metanode Privacy Policy, “some data we retain for longer periods when necessary for legitimate business or legal purposes, such as security, fraud and abuse prevention, or financial record-keeping.
Your address book is stored in our server to optimize your app experience and help you better connect with your friends. Your address book is neither published nor disclosed for any other purpose without your consent.
You can use the contact upload feature and provide us, if permitted by applicable laws, with the phone numbers in your address book on a regular basis, including those of users of our Services and your other contacts. If any of your contacts aren’t yet using our Services, we’ll manage this information for you in a way that ensures those contacts cannot be identified by us. You can create, join, or get added to groups and broadcast lists, and such groups and lists get associated with your account information. You give your groups a name. You can provide a group profile picture or description. You can change your Services settings to manage certain information available to other users. You can manage your contacts, groups, and broadcast lists, or use our “block” feature to manage the users with whom you communicate.
Contact upload is an optional feature that allows us to check which of your contacts in your device's address book are also Metanode users. It also means we can update your Metanode contact list when your contacts who aren't using Metanode yet sign up later.
When you use contact upload and grant Metanode access to your device address book, Metanode will access and upload the phone numbers in your address book typically daily, but this depends on various factors including how often a user uses Metanode, including those of Metanode users and your other contacts. We don’t collect any of the other information that could appear in your device address book including names, email addresses, etc.
If any of your contacts aren’t yet using Metanode, we protect their privacy by managing the phone number in a way that is designed to prevent those contacts from being identified by Metanode. We do this by creating a cryptographic hash value of their phone number, and then deleting the number. Each cryptographic hash value is stored on Metanode’s servers, linked to the Metanode users who uploaded the corresponding phone numbers before they were hashed so that we can more efficiently connect you with these contacts when they join Metanode.
Separately, we also create a cryptographic hash representation of the phone numbers in your device address book which we use to detect and combat misuse of contact upload. For example, we assess the hashes to determine whether there have been unusual changes in the address book. This does not involve tracking or comparing individual phone numbers.
You can control the contact upload feature from your device-based settings. If you choose not to use Contact Upload you can still communicate with people who have Metanode but certain functionality will be limited.
Data we collect from your communications with us, including support, customer services, and other inquiries:
If you choose to contact us through any means of communications we make available, you may provide us with certain information such as your contact details (e.g., name, email, phone number, mobile carrier, country – mainly where you are not a user of our Services) and other information you provide (mainly, related to the issue you wish us to address or resolve). We will further store our contact history and correspondence with you.
Content Information. When you use our services, you may engage with the camera or creative tools and create and share various types of content including Photos, Videos, and more. We collect information about the content you create or provide on our services and your engagement with the camera and creative tools. For certain content, this may include information based on the content of the image, video, and audio.
Camera, Photos, and Audio. Many of our services require us to collect images and other information from your device’s camera, photos, and microphone. For example, you won’t be able to send videos or upload photos from your camera roll unless we can access your camera or photos.
We may collect information about you from other users, our affiliates, and third parties. Here are a few examples:
If you link your Metanode account to another service (a third-party app), we may receive information from the other service, like how you use that service.
If another user uploads their contact list, we may combine information about you from that user’s contact list with other information we have collected about you.
If you provide us with your contact information, we may use that information and information obtained from third parties to determine if we can communicate with you on other messaging platforms.
We may receive information from third parties, including website publishers, social network providers, law enforcement, and others, about potential violators of our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
We use data to build better services
We use the information we collect from all our services for the following purposes:
- Provide our services
- We use your information to deliver our services, like processing the terms you search for in order to return results or help you share content by suggesting recipients from your contacts.
- Maintain & improve our services
- Provide, personalize, and improve our advertising services, ad targeting, and ad measurement, including through the use of your content and precise location information (again, if you’ve permitted us to collect precise location information), both on and off our services. We may also store information about your use of third-party apps and websites on your device to do this.
- Develop and improve our algorithms and machine learning models, including for personalization, advertising, augmented reality, fairness, and inclusivity, and to prevent abuse or other Terms of Service violations.
- Conduct research to better understand Snapchatter and general consumer interests and trends, including the ways our services are used.
- Use the information you provide to communicate with you on other messaging platforms.
- Enhance the safety and security of our products and services.
- Verify your identity and prevent fraud or other unauthorized or illegal activity.
- Use the information we’ve collected from cookies and other technology to enhance our services and your experience with them.
- Enforce, investigate, and report conduct violating our Terms of Service and other usage policies, respond to requests from law enforcement, and comply with legal requirements.
- Monitor and analyze trends and usage.
- If you use an Apple device with Apple’s TrueDepth camera, we may use information from Apple’s TrueDepth camera to improve the quality of Lenses. This information is used in real-time — we don’t store this information on our servers or share it with third parties.
- We also use your information to ensure our services are working as intended, such as tracking outages or troubleshooting issues that you report to us. We use your information to make improvements to our services — for example, understanding which search terms are most frequently misspelled helps us improve spell-check features used across our services.
Develop new services
We use the information we collect in existing services to help us develop new ones. For example, understanding how people worry about their safety while using ride-hailing service, Metanode’s first safety app, helped us alert family members with shared contact using the Driving Alert feature.
Provide personalized services
We use the information we collect to customize our services for you, including providing recommendations, personalized content, and customized search results.
We don’t share information that personally identifies you with advertisers, such as your name or email unless you ask us to. For example, if you see an ad for a nearby flower shop and select the “tap to call” button, we’ll connect your call and may share your phone number with the flower shop.
Communicate with you
We use the information we collect, like your email address, to interact with you directly. For example, we may send you a notification if we detect suspicious activity, like an attempt to sign in to your Metanode Account from an unusual location. Or we may let you know about upcoming changes or improvements to our services. If you contact Metanode, we’ll keep a record of your request in order to help solve any issues you might be facing.
Protect Metanode, our users, and the public
We use information to help improve the safety and reliability of our services. This includes detecting, preventing, and responding to fraud, abuse, security risks, and technical issues that could harm Metanode, our users, or the public.
We use different technologies to process your information for these purposes. We use automated systems that analyze your content to provide you with things like customized search results, or other features tailored to how you use our services.
And we analyze your content to help us detect abuse such as spam, malware, and illegal content. We also use algorithms to recognize patterns in data.
We may combine the information we collect among our services and across your devices for the purposes described above.
Depending on your account settings, your activity on other sites and apps may be associated with your personal information in order to improve Metanode’s services delivered by Metanode partners.
If other users already have your email address or other information that identifies you, we may show them your publicly visible Metanode Account information, such as your name and avatar photo. This helps people identify an email coming from you, for example.
We’ll ask for your consent before using your information for a purpose that isn’t covered in this Privacy Policy.
We handle your data securely by transmission over https. The information we collect is not shared with any third parties.
When you share your information
Many of our services let you share information with other people, and you have control over how you share. For example, you can share videos publicly or you can decide to keep your videos private. Remember, when you share information publicly, your content may become accessible through search engines, including Metanode Search.
We build security into our services to protect your information
All Metanode products are built with strong security features that continuously protect your information. The insights we gain from maintaining our services help us detect and automatically block security threats from ever reaching you. And if we do detect something risky that we think you should know about, we’ll notify you and help guide you through steps to stay better protected.
We work hard to protect you and Metanode from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of information we hold, including:
- We use encryption to keep your data private while in transit
- We review our information collection, storage, and processing practices, including physical security measures, to prevent unauthorized access to our systems
- We restrict access to personal information to Metanode employees, contractors, and agents who need that information in order to process it. Anyone with this access is subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations and may be disciplined or terminated if they fail to meet these obligations.
You can export a copy of your information or delete it from your Metanode Account at any time.
You can export a copy of the content in your Metanode Account if you want to back it up or use it with a service outside of Metanode.
To delete your information, you can:
- Delete your content from specific Metanode services
- Search for and then delete specific items from your account
- Delete specific Metanode products, including your information associated with those products
- Delete your entire Metanode Account
- Delete your information
We retain the data we collect for different periods of time depending on what it is, how we use it, and how you configure your settings:
Some data you can delete whenever you like, such as your personal info or the content you create or upload, like photos and documents. You can also delete activity information saved in your account, or choose to have it deleted automatically after a set period of time. We’ll keep this data in your Metanode Account until you remove it or choose to have it removed.
Other data is deleted or anonymized automatically after a set period of time, such as advertising data in server logs.
We keep some data until you delete your Metanode Account, such as information about how often you use our services.
And some data we retain for longer periods of time when necessary for legitimate business or legal purposes, such as security, fraud, and abuse prevention.
When you delete data, we follow a deletion process to make sure that your data is safely and completely removed from our servers or retained only in anonymized form. We try to ensure that our services protect information from accidental or malicious deletion.
Because of this, there may be delays between when you delete something and when copies are deleted from our active and backup systems.
We regularly review this Privacy Policy and make sure that we process your information in ways that comply with it.
Data transfers
We maintain servers around the world and your information may be processed on servers located outside of the country where you live. Data protection laws vary among countries, with some providing more protection than others. Regardless of where your information is processed, we apply the same protections described in this policy. We also comply with certain legal frameworks relating to the transfer of data. Transfers of your personal data will be made by applicable data protection laws, and among others, we have put in place appropriate safeguards (such as contractual commitments) under applicable legal requirements to ensure that your personal data is adequately protected.
When we receive formal written complaints, we respond by contacting the person who made the complaint. We work with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including local data protection authorities, to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of your data that we cannot resolve with you directly.
Our Services are not intended for children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under this age.
Our Services are not intended for children under the age of 13. Therefore, we do not knowingly collect personal data via our websites, applications, services, or tools from anyone under 13. In the EEA, certain default privacy settings will be applied to users under the age of 16 and can only be changed if the legal guardian instructs so in writing.
When this policy applies
This Privacy Policy applies to all of the services offered by Metanode Inc. and its affiliates, including services offered on third-party sites, such as advertising services. This Privacy Policy doesn’t apply to services that have separate privacy policies that do not incorporate this Privacy Policy.
